[Command Module] Apollo 14 resumed exploration of the moon nine months after Apollo 13's aborted flight. This is the mission's Command Module, the Kitty Hawk.

Apollo 14 was launched on January 31, 1971. Alan Shepard commanded the mission. Stuart Roosa was the Command Module pilot, and Edgar Mitchell, the Lunar Module pilot. Following their entry into lunar orbit, Shepard and Mitchell climbed into the lunar module Antares and landed in the Fra Mauro region of the moon.
