[MASH] M*A*S*H aired from 1972 to 1983. The show had a very loyal following, and some of its props attained iconic status, including this signpost. The final episode was the most - watched program of all time when it ran in 1983.

Although the series was set during the Korean War of the 1950s, most episodes commented on divisive events of the 1960s and 1970s -- Watergate, feminism, and especially the Vietnam War.
