[Quilt] The designer and maker of this intricate quilt is unknown. But the painstaking care taken in creating this heirloom is obvious. The quilt has an appliqued the center and four corner blocks with a large Rose of Sharon variation.

The remaining four blocks have large quilted-and-stuffed motifs: an eagle with shield and flags; an eagle with arrows and olive branch; a grapevine; and a basket of fruit.

In American culture, quilts are often passed down through the generations, becoming treasures commemorating their makers.
