Tour the Castle's Top Floor After its First Fifty Years

One of the most valuable objects in the Museum is a stone image, 20 inches long, weighing 37 pounds 4 ounces, discovered in a cave near Strawberry Plains, 16 miles east of Knoxville, Tennessee. This relic consists of crystallinc limestone, the fracture of which can be seen at the back of the head where the figure seems to have been detached from the rock out of which it was sculptured. This is undoubtedly among the best sculptures thus far discovered in the United States, and compares favorably with kindred sculptures of Mexico or Central America
